On Tuesday, we went to the Oriental Pearl. The Oriental Pearl is a giant tower. We took the elevator to the middle section, which is the sight seeing section. You could pretty much see all of Shanghai from the tower, only, when we went, it was a little foggy so we couldn't see that much. On the bottom floor of the Oriental Pearl, was a museum of Shanghai's history. They had lot's of wax people and model's. It was really cool and I took lot's of pictures, only that doesn't really matter and I'll explain that later. Then we went to the Century Park, which is acres and acres of park land, with a tiny amusement park. While we were at the amusement park, we rode the bumper cars. I didn't bring my camera on this ride because I thought it might get damaged. Although, we went on a really slow ride where you have to pedal to go. I took my camera on this ride, and I had it when I got on, but when I got off, I didn't have it. We looked in the bushes underneath the ride,(which couldn't have been placed any worse) and we even had the people who worked there looking, but we never found it. Then we went home.

On Wednesday, we went to the zoo and safari. On the way there, I was playing my Nintendo, and the road was really bumpy and we kept stopping and going. I had also had an onion bagel for breakfast. This was a really bad combination. So, I threw up. It got all over the car and my pants and it was disgusting. It was kind of funny because the driver loved to keep his car clean. He cleaned it every day. When we finally got there, we went on the safari. We saw all kinds of animals. Before we entered the lion section, the bus driver walked up and down the bus, collecting 5 yuan a person to hang two live chickens out the windows of the bus. The lions were waiting at the gates for the chickens. It was awesome. We also saw Pandas and lemurs. When we saw the lemurs, we bought cups of chopped bananas to feed the lemurs. It was cool because they were jumping on us and climbing on us. I thought it was cool when they would stand up and grab it out of our hands. We also went to a place where they had preserved artifacts of Shanghai's history They had all kinds of furniture, tea sets and everything. The we went home.

Today, we went shopping. It was a giant building with little shops and stands with all kinds of things. I bought a pair of shoes for 100 yuan, which is only 13 USD. I bout a silk scarf for 30 yuan, which is about 4 USD. A lot of things they had like hand bags, belts, and especially watches, were fake name brands. Like Rolex, Prada Gucci, Armani, and lot's of others, but they looked real, and that's all that mattered. I bought a "Rolex" watch for 120 yuan, which is anly 15 USD. We also went out to dinner today at a fancy western restaurant with my Aunt's godparents. Her god brother is so rich! He owned a big company, but then he sold it for gobbles of money. He was wearing a watch with a huge face plate with real diamonds all around it. He had a Porche 911 tubo, a Ferrari 360 spyder, a Lamborghini Galardo, and many other cool sports cars, until he had a kid. Then he got rid of them and bought all family cars. He drove to the restaurant in the new Mercedes Benz SUV. He also has the Porche SUV too. He's so cool.
